Pregnancy Style: What I Wore

Pregnancy Style: What I Wore

Hi friends! It sure has been a hot second since I last posted something. If you know me, you know I’m due any day now with my first child. If you don’t know me, well, I’m due with my first child. All that being said I wanted to share what I’ve worn throughout my pregnancy. I was determined not to buy anything expensive with my growing belly considering I am bringing a life into the world and will surely have more important things to spend my money on (hospital bills, baby stuff, etc.). Because of this, I opted to wear pieces that I already had that I knew I could fit my ever-growing belly with. Some of the keys pieces I noticed when doing so were three factors.

Fabric that has stretch

This was a dress I already owned that I was able to still wear! I was about 6 1/2 months pregnant in this picture!

This smock dress was perfect to wear with my growing belly since it just expanded as I did! I was about 7 months in this photo.

Flowy pieces

This skirt was another piece I already owned in my closet. It kept things from being boring! 6 1/2 months preggo pic.

I paired this flowy dress that was a hand-me-down from my MIL with a basic tee I knotted over my bump. 8 months pregnant in this photo.

Empire Waist

This is a vintage dress I got at Blue Velvet Vintage a few years ago! The waistline hits right above my belly which makes this super easy to wear. I’m 8 1/2 months in this picture!

Another dress I scored at Blue Velvet Vintage YEARS ago. I remember thinking when I bought it how I can wear it one day when I’m pregnant. Once again the empire waist gives room for a growing baby. 8 months pregnant.

At the end of the day, try to have fun with your style while being pregnant! It goes by so fast! Just remember, ITS OKAY if you find yourself re-wearing some of the same items in your closet! Thats why accessorizing can be so important. Whether its a statement earring, adding a hat, layering with different pieces, its all about taking something and making it new by styling it different ways! XO!
